MC Machinery has introduced the Mitsubishi FV 5-axis laser cutting system. Along with a fiber-optic laser, the machine uses a double-rail gantry motion system for high-speed, accurate cutting and 4.0G H-axis acceleration for high-speed height sensing—a combination that delivers the fastest processing in Mitsubishi Electric’s history, according to the company.
An open-architecture fixture table allows for simple access to cut parts and loading/unloading of material. Magnetic crash protection allows for faster recovery time, eliminating the need for mechanical or optical alignment and reducing the risk of drive system damage. Iecho Digital Cutter
