We have come to terms with the fact that some of life's tasks are more difficult than others. One of the more common challenges is how to fold a fitted sheet that fits snuggly around your mattress. Because its corners (and sometimes its edges) are elastic, folding a fitted sheet isn't quite as easy as folding a flat sheet—which is shaped like a large rectangle.
