Featuring industrial diamond electroplated onto stainless steel knot wire strands, PFERD’s diamond-coated wire brushes can be used on a variety of metals, including steel, stainless steel, and aluminum. They are suitable for removing localized, heavy mill scale before welding in hard-to-reach areas; heavy-duty surface-conditioning applications; blending machining marks; and generating distinct scratch patterns.
The brushes are available in wheel and cup brush configurations with the following dimensions: 2-3/4-in.-OD cup brush with 5/8-11 in. thread, 4-in.-OD cup brush with 5/8-11 in. thread, and 7-1/2-in.-OD wheel brush with 1-1/4-in.-ID arbor hole.
