A WOMAN who was quoted £1,000 to turn her under stairs space into storage revealed how she did herself and saved £920 in the process.

Chloe has made a name for herself online thanks to her clever home DIY tips and tricks.
She added it was the best way to use up dead space and get some extra hidden storage.
Any parent will know that shoes and coats end up taking over your hallway, but Chloe won't have that problem anymore with her savvy DIY hack.
The white staircase was panelled and she created a secret door that opens up into a small cloakroom.
Inside she had hooks at the top to hang her children's coats as well as storage baskets and storage for shoes.
There was another another secret hidden drawer for more shoe storage.
The chic storage solution quickly went viral with over 130k views on her TikTok account @thewhitepinesproject.
People were quick to share their thoughts in the comments and many were seriously impressed and asked for detailed instructions on how to do it.
